MFK Academy of Irish Dance first opened our doors to dancers in the NT in 2012.  However MFK Academy has been owned and operated by the Principal Teacher Michelle Burgess for many years prior across Queensland.  Infact MFK Academy of Irish Dance has had success across many states in Australia with our dancers competing for many years at both state and National levels.  We even have current and past dancers that whom qualified to compete at The Irish Dance World Championships - the top level of Irish Dancing

 

MFK Academy of Irish Dance NT are currently the only Irish Dance Academy with permissiom from the * CLRG Irish Dancing Commission and registered with The Australian Irish Dance Association to teach Irish Dancing to Territorians.

 

Our locally based assistant teachers provide a warm welcoming and supportive environment. Our Principal Michelle and Queensland based assistant teachers regularly visit the NT to provide additional support and opportunities for our dancers.

Each of our friendly professional staff hold a current Working with Childrens Clearance  Notice - Ochre Card and are experienced dancers themselves.
